on Frederick circuit is now about provided for. The same is true of the parsonage on New Creek circuit.
The Conference collections will not reach the assessments, but on most of the fields of labor will equal
that of last year. Some of the preachers have lost heavily on salary, as well as the presiding elder. There
will be some increase in Sunday school literature, but I fear a decrease in Telescopes. Our District
Ministerial Institute held two interesting sessions during the year. Quarterlies held, 45, eight of them by
proxy; sermons, 130; salary, $417.02; presents, $34.50. Respectfully submitted, C. H. Crowell, P.E.

Boundaries. Report on Boundaries:

1. Detach Lahmansville, Mt. Olive, and Frosty Hollow from South Branch, and Mt. Horeb and
Yocum’s School House from North Fork; that these together with Deep Spring and Wise’s School
House, may constitute a work to be known as Moorefield Circuit.

2. Detach Our’s School House from South Branch and attach to North Fork circuit.

3. That Singers Glen Circuit be called Singers Glen Mission.

known as Toms Brook Circuit.

District; also Toms Brook and Front Royal [Circuits] from Shenandoah District and attach to Winchester

6. That Basic City, Buena Vista, Roanoke, and Salem, with Iron Gate, Pulaski City, and other
points south of the territory that we now occupy, be submitted to the Stationing Committee as promising
missionary territory that should have our immediate attention, and that they be instructed to provide a
missionary-at-large if possible, who shall canvass this promising field during the coming year, whose
expense shall be paid from our missionary treasury, provided these expenses shall not exceed $100.
