General Improvements:

 Augusta circuit (W. S. Rau, pastor): Church—$60 interest on church debt was also paid; fruit
trees were planted on the lot. Parsonage—A new stable was built on parsonage lot on, cost $100;

$160 was paid on parsonage debt

 Bayard Circuit (B. F. Dotson, pastor): Bayard—Improvements on church property, $20.

 Berkeley Springs Circuit (S. D. Skelton, pastor): Highland church—Painted inside; cost, $35.
Union Chapel—Altar and aisles carpeted, cost $20. Parsonage—Buggy shed built on parsonage

lot, cost $10.
 Berkeley Springs Station (E. E. Neff, pastor): Berkeley Springs Church—Improvements to

church at a cost of $25, and $1,166 paid on the church debt. Sir John’s Run—A new porch in
front of church at a cost of $30. Parsonage—A new roof was put on the parsonage at Berkeley

Springs, cost $30.

 Churchville Circuit (J. W. Maiden, pastor): Churchville Church—Through the efforts of Sister

Belle Hiner in soliciting money, a new roof was put on the church, and concrete steps and walk in

front of church and church lot; cost $275.

 Dayton Station (G. S. Hanleiter, pastor ): Paid on church debt, $200; the Y. P. Auxiliary put in

two beautiful chandeliers in the Sunday school room at a cost of $106. The station and circuit

bought a parsonage for $2,100, all of which is paid but $100.
 Edinburg Circuit (John Ford, pastor): Hawkinstown—Through the efforts of Brothers J. H. Ruby,

John Fultz, and other interested friends of the church, a good, substantial iron fence was put
around the church and graveyard at a cost of $400. Otterbein—Members put a new porch in front

of the church at a cost of $25.

 Elk Garden Charge (George McGuire, pastor): Cross church—New organ, $60; paint for inside,
$10; new roof and other improvements, $27. Mt. Pisgah—New organ, $65; new roof, $40; carpet
for aisle, $6. Oakmart—Plans are completed for a new union church at Oakmart to cost $1,600.
Rehobeth—Painted inside and seats stained; cost $15. Shaw church—New roof, cost $25.
Parsonage—Improvements to parsonage, $18.80.

 Franklin Circuit (J. W. Stearn, pastor): Seneca—Lumber is being placed on the ground for a new
church at Seneca. Yocum—The contract has been let for a new church at Yocum.

 Frederick Circuit (J. C. S. Myers, pastor): The parsonage—Completed at a cost of $2,150; there

is a debt of about $300. This is one of the best parsonages in the Conference.

 Hardy charge (I. Summers, pastor): Garrett’s chapel—A new organ was placed in the church;
also a new carpet, cost, $83.93. Jenkins Chapel—A new organ was bought at a cost of $48.75.
Sperry’s Run—A new fence was placed around church, and other improvements made, cost
$45.60. Parsonage—A telephone was placed in the parsonage, cost $19.

 Harrisonburg (R. G. Hammond, pastor): Church—Beautifully carpeted at a cost of $300;

frescoed, $24; a handsome chandelier, $47; a new piano, $150; and other improvements at a cost
of $56.70. Parsonage—Papered and improved at a cost of $39; and a payment of $500 made on

the debt.

 Inwood Circuit (E. W. Webster, pastor): Inwood—Improvements were also made to the church;
cost $75. Pleasant Plain—The church was papered; cost $30.

 Jones Spring (F. B. Chubb, pastor): Central—Cemetery fenced and other improvements, $125.
Jones Spring—Furnishings for church, $10. Providence—Cemetery fenced, and other
improvements, $125. Stater’s Church—Papering and improvements, $15. Parsonage—A well

was bored at the parsonage and other improvements at a cost of $150.

 Keyser (J. H. Brunk, pastor): Paid $400 on debt, $72 interest, and $45 on parsonage debt.
