1. That finances be referred to a special committee composed of W. F. Gruver. L. A.
Armentrout, J. H. Ruebush, George P. Hott, A. J. Secrist, and E. E. Neff.
2. That the District remain as it is.
3. Detach Mt. Hebron, Thoroughfare, and Swift Run from East Rockingham and attach to
Elkton.
4. That East Rockingham be dissolved.
5. That Belvadere and Shendun be placed in the hands of the Stationing Committee.
6. That the appointments east of the Blue Ridge—Bluff Dale, Otterbein, Shady Grove, and
Prize Hill—constitute Charlottesville circuit.
7. That the Methodist church on West Frederick charge, tendered by the Methodist Society, be
attached to West Frederick charge.
8. That $20 be paid to W. S. Rau, from the Church Erection Fund, for his share of the Blain
lot.
9. That the Presiding Elder and the pastor at Bayard solicit the Shobe heirs for their interest in
the Blain lot.
10. That the Finance Sheet be adopted.
11. That the pastors make their first reports to the Conference Treasurer, June 15th, and every
3 months thereafter.
12. That a separate column be given Bonebrake Theological Seminary.
13. That the Presiding Elder furnish each pastor a Financial Sheet, just as soon as possible after
the adjournment of Conference.
13. That $1,800 be assessed for Administration, divided as follows: 15 percent for Bishop’s
Salary; 66 2/3 percent for Presiding Elder; 8 1/3 percent for Contingent Fund; and 15 percent General
Conference Expenses.
14. That $300 be assessed for the Publishing Fund.
15. That the sum of $2,400 be assessed for Conference Church Extension Fund, which shall be
divided between Church Extension and Home Missions equally.
16. That the sum of $800 be assessed for Sustentation.
17. That $800 be assessed for Conference Benevolence, divided as follows: 25 percent for
Preachers’ Aid, 60 percent for Shenandoah Collegiate Institute and School of Music, and 15 percent for
Laymen’s Benevolent Fund.
18. That $200 be assessed for General Benevolence, divided as follows: 1/3 for Preachers’ Aid,
1/3 for Educational Aid, and 1/3 for General Sunday School Fund.
19. That $200 be assessed for Bonebrake Theological Seminary. E. E. Neff, Secretary.
