Boundaries. The report of Boundary Committee was read and adopted, as follows:
1. That the Districts remain as they are.
2. Detach Mt. Tabor from Hagerstown Circuit, and New Hope from Hagerstown Station and
attach to Williamsport Mission, to be called Potomac Circuit.
3. Detach White Hall, Mt. Carmel, Pleasant View, Salem, and Singers Glen, from Lacey
Springs Circuit and call it Singers Glen Circuit.
4. Detach Cedar Grove, from Dayton Mission Station, and attach to Lacey Springs, to be
called Lacey Springs Mission.
5. That Dayton Mission Station include Harrisonburg.
6. That Rockingham and Augusta Freedman’s Missions be consolidated, to be called
Freedman’s Mission.
7. Detach all the appointments from Bloomery Circuit except Union Chapel, File’s Chapel,
Mt. Hebron and Mellon’s S. House, and attached to North River Mission.
8. That Laurel Hill be detached from North River and attached to Bloomery Circuit.
9. That the Presiding Elders of Potomac and Shenandoah Districts be requested to visit
Fauquier county, Va., with a view of projecting a mission, and report to next Annual Conference.
