Boundaries. Report of the Committee on Boundaries (p. 5): We your Committee on
Boundaries beg leave to report as follows:
1. That Highland, Mill Creek, South Branch, South Fork Mission, and Bloomery Mission be
detached from Shenandoah District, and that New Creek, Alleghany, Garrett, and Westernport Mission
Station be detached from Potomac District, to constitute a new District to be called South Branch
District.
2. That Clarke Mission be detached from Potomac District and attached to Shenandoah
District.
3. That with the above changes, the Potomac and Shenandoah Districts remain as they were.
4. That the name of Rockingham Circuit be changed to Augusta Circuit
5. That we recommend that Frederick City Mission Station be supplied separately.
6. That Union Chapel and Clear Spring be detached from New Creek and attached to
Alleghany Circuit.
7. That we detach from Winchester Circuit, Pleasant Valley, Fairview, and Mt. Olive, and
attach them to Winchester Mission Station.
8. That the remainder of the Circuit be called Mt. Zion Circuit.
9. That Bethlehem be detached from Churchville Circuit and attached to Rockbridge.
10. That Bloomery Mission be a Circuit.
11. That Bridgeport be detached from Mt. Zion Circuit and be attached to Clarke Mission.
12. That we detach Bennett’s Church and Seneca from Mill Creek and attach [them] to
Highland.
