Visiting Committee to Shenandoah Institute (p. 18). We, your committee, visited Shenandoah

Institute during commencement week, ending June 7, 1893, and were present at the examination of

classes, in which the students manifested a commendable progress and proficiency in the branches

taught. We found the premises in good condition and certainly find great pleasure in commending the

work done by this School in the past year; therefore, be it Resolved, That we, as members of this

Conference, gladly foster this Church School in our midst, and that we manifest our allegiance to the

same by recommending it to those with whom we come in contact and will use due diligence to collect

all assessments made by the finance committee for this important institution. S. L. Rice and P. J.

Lawrence.
