SCOPE AND CONTENT:

The contents of this collection were created as a result of work completed by URS Corporation under a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation grant awarded to the town of Bridgewater. For three homes scheduled to be demolished, URS Corporation prepared "architectural recordation packages" documenting the structures and adjacent areas. These packages were submitted to FEMA, the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, the Town of Bridgewater, and the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society. Each structure’s packet contains: Virginia Department of Historic Resources survey forms, floor plans (including keys to photos), black and white photographs, and a descriptive index of photographs.
