The Heritage Center is operated by the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society, an organization that has itself existed for more one hundred years. Read our history. It is run largely by volunteer effort.

Hours of Operation (Eastern Standard Time):
Monday through Saturday, 10am - 4pm.
(On Saturdays, the Library and Museum will be open, but the administration offices will not.) The Heritage Center also closes for major holidays and inclement weather.
