Owned by Colonel Armstrong, then by Widow Brown, daughter-in-law, and now by Mrs. Henry Marsh, niece
of the Widow Brown.
5. DESCRIPTION:
See form 3686, attached.
6. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:
Colonel Armstrong killed his neighbor, ___Shank, in front of his home. This was during the War Between the
States. There was a mock trial and Armstrong received a very light punishment.
