Original owner was John H. Shipe who built it in 1847. It was purchased by the present day owner in 1887.
5. DESCRIPTION:
Interior is made of the best materials. Mantels, stairway, and floors are very elaborate. Exterior is made of the
best materials. The cornices, dormers, and roof are very elaborate. It has been remodeled.
