Virginia Lee secured employment with the National Geographic Soc. where currently (1977) she is an Editorial Asst. She and
Maurice Finnegan were mar. in McGaheysville, Va., in 1950 and to this union 3 children were born. Virginia's husband,
Maurice, was born in the Panama Canal Zone in 1915. He attended grade school in Scotland and Ireland (Eire) and grad. from
HS in Washington, D. C., and from Booth and Bayless Business Col., Bridgeport, Conn. Maurice served in the US Army during
WW II in the Pacific Theater, the Philippines and Korea. Currently (1977) he is employed by Greyhound Airport Services,
Washington, D. C., with his office at the National Airport. Virginia Lee is a member of the Meth. Ch. and her husband is of the

Kathleen was born in McGaheysville, Va., in 1924. She attended the public school in McGaheysville and grad. from the
McGaheysville HS with her twin sis., Irene, in the class of 1942. Kathleen attended Madison Col., Harrisonburg, Va., and
transferred to Jefferson Memorial Hosp., Roanoke, Va., for nurses training where she grad. and received her Pin as a Reg.
Nurse. In 1946 she and Michael John Finnegan were mar. in Washington, D. C. Michael was born in the Panama Canal Zone
in 1919. He attended grade school with his bro. in Ireland (Eire) and Scotland and grad. from HS in Washington, D. C. Michael
entered civil service and worked for the Government Printing Office as an Editor until he retired in 1975 after 36 years of ser-
vice. During WW II he served in the U S Army in the European Theater. Kathleen worked as a nurse for a private physician in
Washington, D. C., until her husband retired. They left Annandale, Va., and moved to Harrisonburg, Va. As a hobby they
assist in watching, counting and banding migratory birds. They have a cabin in the West Virginia mountains where they spend
many enjoyable days with the birds they love. Michael is a very talented artist and paints many bird and wild life pictures.
They are both interested in genealogy and have assisted with valuable research for this family history. nfd
