Stained Glass Windows in the Churches of Harrisonburg
First Presbyterian Church
Stickley Window
This window has been placed in the southwest corner of the church facing outwards and this must be
viewed at night. It shows Christ holding a light aloft with the words “I am the light of the world”. This
window was given “for the continued reminder that Jesus alone is the light of the world and for the
inspiration to help him dispel darkness everywhere by the light of his presence”.
- The window dates to 1953 and is the work of the J & R Lamb Company of Spring Valley, New York.
