Stained Glass Windows in the Churches of Harrisonburg

Love
The theme of the triple lancet window in the Chancel is based upon the text, “This commandment give I
unto you that ye love one another even as I have loved you.” The central window shows the figure of
Christ in the familiar attitude, “Come unto me.” The central panel and the two flanking windows also
contain five medallions representing David and Jonathan; Ruth and Naomi; the Prodigal Son; the Good
Samaritan; and Christ Blessing the Children.
