  5. DESCRIPTION:

    6. The present building is rebuilt and somewhat modern, but is located on the original Stinespring Site.

  6. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

    7. There is no special history connected with the house except that the Hotel was owned and operated by Mr. Stinespring during the War Between the States, but for some unknown reason, he hung himself.
