  10. One of the first grave yards located in this section. Long since abandoned, overgrown with brush and briars, and almost impenetrable.

  11. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

No special history only the resting place of some of the first settlers in this part of Virginia.

  2. Died Mar. 25th 1850.

  3. Joseph William died Oct. 10, 1845—5 days old.
  4. Irene Adelia died Oct. 13, 1846 2 yrs. old.
  5. John Henry died Mar. 2\30, 1848, 7 mo. old.
  6. In memory of Jacob H. Deitrick
  7. Born Nov. 30, 1843—Died Sept. 30, 1860.

  8. Jacob W. Foley, died Sept. 30, 1860

Age 5 yr. 5mos. and 29 days.

7. In memory of "Catherine" wife of Adam Pifer born July 28th 1798

Died Dec. 19th 1858, Age 60 yrs. 4 mos. 12 da.

8. Elizabeth Deitrick wife of Jacob Dietrick

Born Jan. 3, 1818--Died May 5th 1852.

  1. Mary A. wife of G.M. Shelton born Feb. 22, 1832
  2. Died June 28th 1852 age 20 yrs. 4 mo. and 6 da.

  3. In memory of "Mary" wife of "Andrew Lage"

Born Jan 31st 1789-- Died Jan 31st 1853.
