Linville Creek Baptist Church.
Linville Creek, near County line.
1743, approximately.
The Baptist congregation has held possession of this property since the organization of the church in 1756.
It is impossible to give the architectural construction of these early buildings which have long since been rebuilt and several times remodeled; and the present brick building is modern in every way.
The early English settlers established a Baptist Church at Linville Creek (now Page County) in 1743, and in August 1756, the Linville and Smith Creek churches were organized in Rockingham County.
