  7. OWNERS:
  8. John Niswander was the builder and original owner. Then it was owned for twenty-five or thirty years by Aldine Kieffea, a pioneer music publisher, and now John Wenger.

  9. DESCRIPTION:
  10. This is a substantially built brick house on pre-war architectural plans.

  11. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:
  12. It was one of the few houses that escaped Sheridan’s vengeance during his famous Raid of the Valley.
