  4. On Mossy Creek, near (former) Spring Creek R.R. station (now discontinued). This Railroad was the famous W.E.D. Stokes’ trunk line of Virginia, the C. & W.R.R., "Crooked and Weedy" or the "Cuss and Wait" R.R.

  6. In the early 1800’s.

  7. OWNERS:
  8. Jimmy Davis, thence to his son, Walter Davis, and now Lee Patterson.

  9. DESCRIPTION:
  10. The old log house has long since been obliterated. The present house is a large eight or ten room, modern, brick house.

  12. None.
