On Mossy Creek, near (former) Spring Creek R.R. station (now discontinued). This Railroad was the famous W.E.D. Stokes’ trunk line of Virginia, the C. & W.R.R., "Crooked and Weedy" or the "Cuss and Wait" R.R.

Jimmy Davis, thence to his son, Walter Davis, and now Lee Patterson.
The old log house has long since been obliterated. The present house is a large eight or ten room, modern, brick house.
