  3. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:
  4. Samuel Weaver’s grandfather, Emanuel Weaver was one of the first pioneer settlers who came to Rockingham County form Pennsylvania with the German migration following the close of the French and Indian War in 1763. Samuel Weaver gave the land for the present Weaver Mennonite Church from this estate, which was the third Mennonite Church built in this country.
