The Shenandoah Valley Watercolor Society will exhibit original works of art at the 2001 Holiday Harvest of Art. The SVWS is a local arts organization with sixty members who paint or have a strong interest in watercolor. In addition to aqueous media, artists may choose to display sculpture, drawings or alternative painting medium such as oil or acrylic.

The opening reception is planned for November 8, 200` from 6 to 8 pm in the Heritage Center’s changing exhibit gallery. The public is welcome and many artists will be present. A "People's Choice Award" will be given at the close of the show to the piece most popular with viewers. Admission to this exhibit is free and many pieces are available for purchase. The exhibit extends until the Heritage Center closes for Christmas.
